A cure for the Monday Blues

Quite alot of the Books I read are part of a series.
Usually means I get behind regularly.
A new series for me Is The Goddess Series by Aimee Carter (review coming shortly)
I finished Book 1 a few Days back, so Today bought  1.5 & 2.  Love the idea of the novellas between each Book.

I'm new to Novellas ( I've read The Selection series by Kiera Cass's novella The Prince) but love the fact we can get to know the characters better.


I bought ebooks so no pictures, so here's a crafty pic instead

What do you do with finished Books?

I'm a self confessed hoarder, Don't get rid of anything as you never know when you'll need it lol

I keep all my Books and only get rid on 2 occasions.
1) If it's a duplicate, as 4 in my previous post are.
In that case I donate them to the Lifeboat Center to sell on & raise funds. (they also get my duplicate DVDs)

2) If I dislike the Book & know I wont read it ever again.

My new Books this Month

I got the ebook of Beautiful Creatures in April but it stayed in my tbr pile for a few Months.
Then I was lucky enough to win a signed paperback ( signed by Alice Englert & Aldon Ehrenreich) which made me finally start it, I was hooked within a few pages.
So bought the rest of the series

I also got these 2 Books from Asda, Fallen has been on my 'to get' list for awhile, and I loved the cover of The Blessed Passionaries, I think it's Book 2 in a series though so will get Book 1 before reading.

On the Jodi Picoult Facebook page, they had a competition & I was a runner up.
I was so surprised when a massive parcel arrived containing 7 Books (Salem Falls not pictured)
I love the new covers of The Pact, Nineteen Minutes etc
I already own The Pact, Nineteen Minutes & My Sisters Keeper & love them all. ( I'll do a post about what i'm going to do with my duplicates)

After reading Geek Girl by Holly Smale, I've been entering every competition I can find for signed copies, badges & the sequel Model Misfit. 
I was lucky & won the One on http://beckysbarmybookblog.blogspot.co.uk/
Included was a copy of both Books! 

Model Misfit is released on Sept 26th

So here I go

The past few Years, I've read so many amazing blogs (especially all the Book review ones)
So I thought i'd give it a go.

I'm a complete technophobe with bad spelling & grammar, So doubt anyoneelse will ever read this lol
So mainly this is just for me to play around :)

Hopefully it'll help me keep note on what Books i'm Reading/Buying, and help my tbr pile get abit smaller.  haha Never will happen as who can resist new Books.

My tbr pile is neverending & I'm also the type of Reader to have lots started at the same time.

So there'll be Book posts plus knowing me random pictures I take, reviews of shows/films etc
And the occasional crafty post like pics below
